We encourage every believer at FBC Vidor to impact the world around them for Jesus Christ. As we worship God, grow in Christ, and serve others, the natural outcome is a life that desires to lead others to salvation through Jesus.
Our discipleship process includes several different ways that a believer can impact their world: personally, locally and globally. Your journey to impact the world begins by inviting your lost friends to worship. We want to see each member grow strong enough in their own Christian faith to personally disciple others. This one-on-one intentionality helps newer believers develop a strong commitment to the Lord as well as find their “fit” in the church family. We also believe God has led us to impact others locally through LIFE Groups and family mission projects. God has established this church as a beacon of truth to the community of Vidor. We seek to meet them at their greatest point of need so that we can share God’s love with them. And we share Christ globally by participating in the many mission opportunities through the church. From Main Street to the uttermost parts of the globe, God is calling us to reach the nations – and FBC Vidor is obedient to the call!

Each Sunday we take a Welcome Bag to our first-time visitors so we can greet them personally and find out how we can better minister to them.

First Baptist Church helps support the United Christian Care Center, a non-profit organization that provides food and clothing to those in western Orange County.
